2020 HPABA Committees

The High Point Area Builders Association is looking for a few good men and women to serve on the following committees throughout the year 2020.  This is a great way to get to know other members of this Association and to meet potential new contacts for your business.  The more members we have involved in our committees, the stronger we become.

Below are the committees and a brief description of their responsibilities.  Pick a committee that intrigues you and make that commitment by checking off the one you want to serve on and faxing to or calling the office at 336-885-5687.  Please email execofficer@highpointbuilders.com for any questions or concerns regarding committees.

Membership Committee

Their mission is to plan and conduct a program for membership retention and development.  They are to identify annual goals for membership and retention and to prepare and coordinate a program to achieve these goals.  They report to the Board of Directors and the general membership on the status of the HBA membership.  They coordinate the activities of the committees involved in the membership effort.  They orient and recognize all new members.  They recognize HBA members for their recruiting and retention efforts.

Builders Ball Committee

The mission of the Builders Ball Committee is to plan and coordinate the annual gala that includes a Reverse Raffle.  If you enjoy event planning (meal selection, decorations, logistics, etc.), then this committee is for you!  The goal is to promote this fun event that encourages members to relax, get dressed up, and enjoy being together.  This committee also coordinates the various fundraising components of the event that support our association.

Golf Committee

Their mission is to plan and implement a golf outing for the HBA.  We support First Tee of the Triad by donating a percentage to this worthwhile cause.

Joe Nottoli Shooting Competition Committee

Their mission is to plan and implement a skeet shoot fundraising event for the HBA.  A percentage of the proceeds go to Operation Enduring Gratitude, an organization with a mission to “demonstrate our gratitude to our servicemen and women by offering meaningful outdoor experiences, free to the participants.”
